It's great being a kid, and being entertained for hours by searching for bugs. M got a new bug looking jar for Christmas. It is one of those jars that have a magnifying glass in the lid so you get to see the bugs up close. After our beach trip today we decided to see what we could find in our backyard. We collected 1 bee, 1 butterfly, 1 spider and 1 big ant. Both kids loved seeing them up close and it was great fun actually searching for them. In between searching there were heaps of playing with everything they could find, like the Octonaut Peso, who got a tucked in under a leaf and got right to sleep! And the plastic bug Mr.Beetle got a pretty nice house built out of ice cream sticks as well... Love these days when you got time for the little things.
