Brand Watch | Mini & Maximus FW13

Californian label Mini & Maximus is almost out with another exciting FW13 collection. This one entitled "LOS BANDITOS" is packed with mischievous wear for the little bandits in our lives.  There are some more cool graphics and art ready to be worn, and a few good messages like "don't grow up' and 'no bullying' as well. Happy to announce that my girl M has drawn another little addition to the collection, the sneaky M, which is featured on a sweatshirt and a few dresses. It is always fun to see how the drawings comes out on the finished garment, and we are very excited for this one! The colours keys for this collection are olive green, burnt red, deep teal, khaki and a splash of pink.

The Los Banditos collection will be out in a couple of weeks time, and will be available in stores like, Minitbots / Orange Mayonnaise / Scandinavian Minimall / Skip To My Lou / My Little Square / Noeuf and of course in Mima's own webshop.

Brand Watch | NicoNico AW13

A look at the new AW13 range from US based label Nico Nico. We have been long time fans of this label for its buttery soft raglan tops and comfy leggings and sweatpants. Less is more with this label and their new range doesn't disappoint!  While a lot of labels seem to mute down the colours for Autumn and Winter Nico Nico turn them up with colour names like citrus, tomato and midnight. They have also added some gorgeous, neutral thick knits in heather grey, oatmeal and black that goes well with most attires.

It has hardly escaped any Bobo Choses fan that their new AW13 range, June's Lullaby is out in stores. The famous Spanish label has yet again created a line that captures a story in illustrations that runs across the line. We have been a long time fan of this wonderful NY label Atsuyo Et Akiko. Started in 2007 the label offers a selection of children's clothing, home decor, bags, accessories and jewelery for everyday use. They have also done some interesting collaborations with artist and designers from different art forms. Among the most recently is Jess Brown, Tamar Mogendorff, Coral & Tusk and The Walt Disney Company. All of the gorgeous items above (and more) have just arrived at Scandinavian Minimall so have a look and fall in love with the beautiful prints and butter soft tees that is Atsuyo Et Akiko.

CHRISTMAS LIST | BABY BOY

It is time peeps! I know, I am normally one of those that is blissfully unaware how close we are to Christmas until it is just around the corner and I do one of those mad dashes to the shops and come home with exactly those things I promise each year not to get. The things that break easily or don't really look that great, or we simply have too much of already. Well this year is going to be different. I am going to be out in time, invest in some things that I know will last and be loved for longer than the Christmas will last.
