What's the time Mr.Wolf?

Photobucket How great are these little wall clocks from Zoo timers? Created by George Nelson in the 1950s, who has a talented eye for graphics and contrasts. Inspired by the animal kingdom these 3 clocks of a owl, elephant and fish have become ever so popular again (or simply just never went out of style!) and are available over at Vixvax.com. Vixvax offers free shipping in EU and UK (and soon also Australia).

Tone it down...

Photobucket While we are on boys clothes, I am totally smitten by this cool little combo. While summer is all about ramping up the colour sometimes it is nice to tone it down a notch and embrace the grey and black for the little guys.
1. Toby Longsleeve tee from Soft Gallery // 2. Richie Sweat pants, peat from Soft Gallery // 3. Esky jacket from Munster // 4. Miller jiffy black from Native shoes. All items available at Minibots!

Snug as a BUG!

The winter here in Australia has crept up on us, or so it feels at least. It has gotten a lot harder to get out of bed in the morning, and even my son who is normally the last person in the family to even put on socks (he could happily wear bare feet all day long and outside too if he had his choice) has started to shiver and put a blanket on himself in the couch. Seasons normally change quickly here. You just start to think, wasn't winter last year around this time and BAM! There it is. Above is a few items that I have gotten for my son this winter to keep that little freestyler warm. We are sharing the scarf from ADA ADA, but it has become increasingly difficult to wear it while he is with me because he points and says, Dante's! I will just have to look at the summer fashion that is in full swing in Europe right now and dream away to next summer here, and in the meantime make myself a tea and put on that heater again :) Have a lovely Monday out there!

Cardigan by Cotton on Kids, Jeans by Kulör, shoes by Natives. // D wears: Sweatshirt by Bobo Choses, Jeans by Cotton on Kids, shoes by Puma. // Tote bag by Beci Orpin.

A few snapshots from the playground. The rain stayed away today so it was so much more enjoyable to be outside. We could dump the thick jackets at home and spend some time at one of our local playgrounds after lunch. The season is really up and down now. Could be warm one day and cold and wet the next. I am guessing I will have to get a really good raincoat for myself this year since the bike ride pick up at school is going to continue come rain or sunshine. Hope you are all enjoying your Sundays out there. Tea cup coming up... and hopefully some 20 odd minutes of reading a magazine, if the laundry doesn't kidnap me first!

D wears: Longsleeve by Nico Nico, pants by Katvig, jacket by Kids Case, gumboots by Walnut, cap by Munster // M wears: Longsleeve by Bobo Choses, pants by I Dig Denim, gumboots by Bergstein, jacket by Witchery Kids, beanie by The Brand. It was some rather harsh weather we were greeted with today, but somehow the kids always go a bit nuts after lunch and you just have to go outside and let them run it off. We were hoping for a bit of dry weather but there were no such luck. The seaside gave us a drizzle but spectacular views. After a lunch stop at the tea rooms, we headed out for a quick exploration of the nice rock pools there. I am glad I rugged up the kids and insisted on gumboots for the feet. Little D got to try out his great winter jacket by Kids Case which have the best soft inner lining ever. You wouldn't believe it but Australia can get rather cold in wintertime so it was a good investment we did. Now it is down time in the couch under a blanket, a big bowl of popcorn and Despicable Me on the DVD player.

Beanie by Country Road, Knit by Witchery Kids, jeans by Cotton on Kids, shoes by Converse.
Me wears: Lovely scarf by Ada Ada.

Here are some Friday moments from our day. We rugged up and conquered the cold weather and went to the nearby sand dunes. It was like being in snow actually, with all the clothes and jumping into the soft, deep sand. The little man loved every minute of it, and it certainly made up for the all day inside yesterday. I love these days where you can spend some time in nature, even if only for a couple of hours. Guess if we had sand all over when we got back home? I think we broke a new record! I realize I haven't really featured on a lot of photos so for you who don't know my mug yet... I am treating you to a scarily big self portrait.. Hope you will have a nice Friday and a even lovelier weekend!
