New In | Underwear by nosweet
How gorgeous is this underwear set for a boy and a girl from nosweet? When summer hits Australia for sure this is pretty much what you live in when you are inside, so when I found out that nosweet made some nice ones I simply had to get some. The sets comes in three different styles, white n black bugs, clouds, and orange n white bugs.
Wanda from nosweet says - "Very important to us was underwear - simple, super comfortable and healthy for the kids delicate skin. Our clothes are what we called - 24 hour clothes - kids can choose if they want to wear it as daywear, underwear or nightwear. They can mix&match all the clothes together".
nosweet clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton and the prints are also made from GOTS certified dyes which makes the clothes 100% pure organic cotton. Definitely something you want the kids to hang out in all day long. Here is a little video of the clothes in action >>

Moments | Thursday Hang Out
Thursdays normally means 1 on 1 with this guy for me. He looks forward to when its Thursday morning and he can sleep in, watch morning cartoons on TV and basically just do what ever he wants. It is nice to have one of these days in the week when you can turn off the daily routines and not worry about having to be somewhere at a certain time.
Last Thursday he wanted to go to the "Dinosaur Cafe" which is a cafe I have written about before here. He loves the fact that they have a little playground attached to it, and little games etc to entertain him with. It doesn't hurt that they make the best gourmet chicken burger for kids either. Here are a few photos I managed to take in between lunch & playground fun. This little guy hardly stands still so I am happy I have found the perfect setting on my camera to capture him with ;) He had the chance to try out his Just Bo outfit which is so nice in its simplistic but wonderful way. If you missed the Close Up feature of this label you can still check it out here. It is the perfect outfit for a playful day since it is so soft to run around in, and it even seem to hide even the wildest adventures in the grass... love!

Hello Summer | SONS + DAUGHTERS
With the appending Australian summer around the corner and the increasing sun exposure, it was time to find some proper sunglasses for the kids. I have heard a lot of good things about SONS + DAUGHTERS and when Fourmonkeys asked if we wanted to test them out, we of course said yes.
We decided to go with the Bobby styles. The darker tortoise style for my girl and the matte frost style for the boy. SONS + DAUGHTERS sunglasses have tinted lenses for clear vision and comfort. The sunglasses are all RX'able frames allowing for prescription lense and offers 100% UV protection. They also have spring hinges for durability and comes in a nice protective case. Now we just need some proper sun to try them out in, which with a bit of luck will be very soon!

Sponsor Highlight | LOJA DÁDÁ
Say hello to one of my new sponsors Loja Dádá. Based in Portugal and run by owner Daniela Melamed, the shop started out to be a place where Portuguese parents could find a different option to children's wear, but has now grown into a fully international shop, shipping worldwide and offering unique labels like, Beau LOves, Mini & Maximus, Bobo Choses, Kidscase, Popupshop, Indikidual etc. to parents all over the world.
I had the chance to catch up with the owner/founder, Daniela recently and got to ask her a few questions regarding her shop Loja Dádá
Can you tell us how Loja Dádá started? What is your inspiration, and how did you come up with the name?
Well, now I am going to be not original at all, but my shop started when my daughter was born. It started not out of the usual need to find clothes that were different at first, but to find nice things to buy online. At that time, I did not know most of the shops and brands I know now, and I thought it would be a nice thing to open a online shop in Portugal, allowing mothers to buy online at times it would be hard for them to leave the house (I never have much time for shopping).
Later, I also wanted to give them the opportunity to buy from nice small labels that they would not find anywhere near. By now, Loja Dada is a fully international shop, shipping worldwide and trying to offer a nice selection to mums all over the world and not only in Portugal. The name Loja Dada came from my daughter. She used to say "dadadada" all the time when she was little. So when it was time to pick a name, Dádá it was. Loja means shop in Portugese.
What do you look for when sourcing a label for your store? Is there a particular style you like?
In the beginning, I focused much on ethic production and brands that would be eco-friendly. And in fact, I still do, and all brands I chose I try to be small brands, from within the brands I try do exclude products made in China or similar (though I have had my surprises…) and then there is a style I like: I like black clothes for kids for example, I like comfortable, rad clothes. But I change all the time and sometimes try to include something new in the shop.
You have recently gotten some nice new styles from Popupshop, Beau LOves, Mini Rodini, etc what are some of your own favourites this season, and have you gotten anything particular for your own gorgeous, little girl?

My girl just loves her Popupshop tights, all models! I love the Popupshop black baggy pants, with sweaters, for our winter weekend
walks on the beach and so. From Mini Rodini, I love most the basics, which are
always so soft (like their other items, too). Beau Loves is just the coolest
brand with such a nice lookbook. Also got
her a MIMA black sweater with Meow print, an Emile et Ida pink catmasksweater and a black dress by Emile et Ida (for some special event).
head on over to Loja Dádá to check out their great collection of unique labels from across the world, and a big thanks to Daniela for sharing her story with us, and giving us an insight into the world of Loja Dádá - obrigado!:: VISIT LOJA DADA ::

Moments | Before the Rain
M wears: Playsuit by Missie Munster / Shoes by Natives. D wears: Tee by Volcom / Shorts by Scotch & Shrunk / Shoes by Converse / Beanie by Neff.
I love watching my kids play... I love how they can make a story/game out of anything. Some leaves becomes an umbrella to a toy mouse. A patch of the garden becomes a magical land and together they share the great adventure with the two mice before the rain slowly starts to fall and it's time to continue the adventure inside instead.

Close Up | I Dig Denim AW13
This is denim on a high level. Swedish label I Dig Denim, has just launched their AW13 collection entitled The Ice Blue Ocean. The label has really tapped into the Scandinavian rawness of the coastline and brought out some amazing washes on all of their new denim lines. My boy was in need of new jeans since he is basically lived in the Chicago model I got him a few years ago, so we picked the new Alabama and Newark model. We couldn't be happier with our choice, both have such great washes, the Alabama being the more straighter leg version with nice worn in details, and the Newark having the cool cut and a slightly softer wash.
Now I wish you could feel the softness of the fabric on these photos because that is one of the major highlights of this label. There is no hard denim fabric at all in these jeans, they are surprisingly soft, almost like a pair of sweatpants, which really makes me want to get a pair for myself! It is like they have already had the first year of being worn for you, and here is your favourite pair of jeans to just hop into (lucky for me they also do adult versions so I am looking into a pair of those soon).
Having just gone through a winter, we were almost hoping this wonderful, thick knitted Torino sweater would have been available sooner, but knowing the Melbourne weather we still have lots of opportunity to wear this and through out the next year as well. There is no scratch in sight with this lovely mix of 40% wool, 30% acrylic, 20% nylon and 10% cotton.

Moments | Wind Breaker
Not quite sure what is going on with the weather lately, but as the wild fires are burning in NSW with hot days we are having a cold and very wet week here in Victoria. It was a perfect opportunity to try out something warm in between the warmer weekends and D jumped into his Gugguu outfit the other day.
I wrote about this label earlier here, and promised to show you the clothes in action as well and here they are. They were taken on a really windy and rather cold day so it was nice to see the clothes holding up to both weather elements. I never got complaints on being cold, and the generous hood came in handy, especially since the buttons in the neck made it extra snug and it didn't blow off in the winds. I really like how this outfit sits on my little guy. We picked a size 116 (my boy is 4 and a couple of months) and at first I was a bit worried we might have gone a bit too big, but luckily both the pants and the hoodie has long and tighter hems around the arms/legs so there was no oversize look to it even though he will be able to have it for quite some time.
The little guy was really happy to find the large pockets, and he instantly packed them with toy airplanes, dinosaurs and a handful of cars. Since they were so deep I am happy to say nothing fell out of them either! After getting some jumping thrills in on the beach it started to rain, and lots of it so we had to head towards dryer indoors and a chance to get some food and a warm drink. D found a giant blackboard so he was entertained with trying to write his name and chatting to the cafe staff.
We are super happy we got to try this label out, and the little man is very pleased to have an outfit that can stash his toys while he is on the go...
