Moments | Days in the Sun!

D wears: Breaking Cap by munsterkids / Smile Tee by munsterkids / Denim shorts by I dig denim / Marbles jumper by munsterkids / Shoes by Native shoes. M wears: Grinners Cap by munsterkids / Ruffled Jumpsuit by munsterkids / Shoes by Nike / Skateboard by munsterkids.

The days are finally ticking down to a long summer holiday and it is certainly a welcomed break after a long school year. I can't say we are going to miss making school lunches early in the morning, or finding socks in the last minute! It will be a nice, long break and we are going to enjoy a great adventure along the coast.

We are going to pack the car with a tent, surfboards, fishing rods and all the rest and just enjoy seeing Australia from the road. We can't wait to see the coastline and the charming sea towns along the way.

I hope you all will have a great, safe and FUN break this holiday no matter if you celebrate it in the sun or snow. Here are a few photos from the weekend that was mostly spent trying out their new cool skateboard deck by munsterkids.

MOMENTS | There's Something Strange...

D wears: William Wow hoodie by BangBang CPH / Stunt Dummy pants by Munsterkids / Shoes by Vans.

...In the Neighborhood!

Some moments after school, and a chance to catch up with the animals and fun on wheels. The new favourite William Wow hoodie from Bang Bang CPH is a must, and is an instant costume/all around hoodie that my boy has quickly fallen in love with. Now he is never without mask (who knows when and who you need to scare on your adventures ;) although the neighborhood cat doesn't seem too faced by the skeleton boy!

MOMENTS | Skate Break

D wears: Making Tracks zip hoodie by Alphabet Soup / Lucky You Jean by Alphabet Soup / Electromagnetic LS raglan tee by Alphabet Soup / Paint ball beanie by Alphabet Soup / Shoes by Native.

There is a lot going on over here with our house move, but you still have to have a break every now and then... The other night we had such a lovely evening with a nice sun set and the kids ran off some extra energy on the boardwalk. We brought the skateboards and it was so nice to just roll around and watch people down there. Everybody is enjoying the sun we have had lately and its nice to have it warm you up in the cool evening air.

D got to try out his cool outfit from Alphabet Soup. He loves his soundwave hoodie which is such a cool invention, it has built-in headphones (featuring HB3 technology). Yes you read that right- headphones in the hood! So you simply connect your music device to the music cord in the zip up pocket and out comes music into the hood... Best thing is, its also machine washable so there is no worrying about not being able to wash it.  So now there is no excuse not to bring the music with him and I feel better about him taking his music with him since he can still hear what is going on around him.

If you haven't heard about Alphabet Soup and you got boys at home, you should definitely check it out. The Melbourne based streetwear label has a big dose of cool to put in the boys wardrobe and they takes direct influence from music, action sports and popular street culture. The range is an eclectic product mix with one thing in common - boys of all ages will want to wear it!

Moments | Concrete Dreams

D wears: Top by Bobo Choses / Sweat by Bobo Choses / Shorts by I Dig Denim / Sneakers by Hummel.

It is the best part of summer at the moment. We are slowly moving towards Autumn so the days are not too hot and it is easier to move around on two wheels without getting too warm. We used to move around a lot with a bike trailer but lately we have all hopped on the bikes and we even bike home from school every day which has been great.

The skatepark is a place we visit often and lately my boy has been keen on trying out his bmx there. He sees the bigger boys bike in the bowl and do tricks and he is eager to learn how to master his balance on two wheels here. It is great to see him being so confident, and it is amazing to think that this time last year he was still having training wheels on. Now he loves seeking out a challenge and finding a good jump to try and get some air on, the learning curve on kids are nothing but awe-inspiring!

Moments | Keep on Rolling

D wears: Island tribe cap by Munsterkids / Don't Grow Up tee by Munsterkids / Ramones jeans by Munsterkids / Hoodie by Munkstown / Sneakers by Puma / Sunglasses by Sons + Daughters.

A boy and his board, 4 wheels and seemingly endless of fun. I have a serious crush on this tee by munsterkids, and it is so perfect right now when I would see this guy slow down a bit with his growing up. In about a months time, he is going off to big school! A new chapter and new experiences, but to be honest I just want to press pause and live in a bubble where things just stay exactly the way things are now... just for a little bit longer.

Moments | Summer Stories

D wears: This Is How I Roll tee by Munsterkids / Jag Team Pants by Munsterkids / Paintball boardies by Munsterkids / High Stack Cap by Munsterkids.

While the weatherman promised rain today, Melbourne seemed to have other plans on the agenda. This is a good time to have a spare of boardies in your bag in case it turns sunny and a chance to have a dip in the blue appears. We met up with some friends and spent the afternoon on the beach and the spare boardies came to good use! December always seem to be such a crazy month but there is nothing better than a trip to the sea to forget all the 'musts and things to do' - there its all about being in the moment and a chance to enjoy the sun for a while.
