Moments | Magical Sanctuary

D wears: Cap by Elements // Tee by Little Horn // Jeans by I Dig Denim // Shoes by Puma. M wears: Zip up jacket by Shampoodle // Dress by Mini Rodini // Leggings by Cotton on Kids // Shoes by Hummel.

The temperature was quickly climbing to 28C today, so instead of going towards the hot beach we decided to head into the greenery and the magical place that is William Rickett's Sanctuary up in the Dandenong Ranges. Here it was a cooler place to hide in the shade and a great opportunity to check out the amazing sculptures by William Rickett with the kids. It is like stepping into a mystical world, with giant ferns and small creeks, and colourful birds watching you as you explore. It was a perfect day to go here. Not too many visitors so we got to really watch everything we wanted to see in our own time. Definitely a come back place for us soon!

    1. Yes it is like a fairytale in there. But not a man made one, just sort of sculptures that has been integrated in nature over time... truly beautiful!

    1. Chantal, thank you :) Glad you like the photos, I love taking them. We found the element cap in a local surf store, but I think I have seen it at Surf Stitch (australian online shop) as well. I think it is fairly common.
