Some more photos from our lovely weekend in Walkerville. It really was like a bit of heaven on earth this beach. Full of rock pools and caves, amazing trees and plants and plenty of opportunity to just explore for the kids. I went a bit mad with the camera because everywhere I looked there were something else beautiful to capture.
The tide was prefect so we had some great chances to explore some little caves that went through the big rock walls of the beach. There were perfect little rock formations everywhere and M found the biggest piece of seaweed we have ever seen! I am glad we packed the gumboots because that really allowed us to go everywhere, even though I think all of us stepped a bit too deep in water at some point! The water was so clear that on several occasions you couldn't even see it was there!
After a few hours on the beach the tummies were growling so we went to the nearby village for some fish n chips and a chance to stock up on some firewood and tonight's dinner and birthday celebrations.
To be continued in part III
