The first time I was introduced to bamboo clothing I was floored! Not literally but really amazed with just how soft it was. The "buttery soft" expression doesn't even come close. It is like a second layer of skin that you wear, and it is by far the softest clothing fabric I have come across. Australian label Doodlebug has always been onto this fabric with amazing qualities and it is one of the cornerstones, together with their fun graphic prints that has made it so successful.

Designed in Australia, Doodlebugs bamboo clothing is bringing the cool back into children’s fashion without sacrificing the environment. Each piece pays particular attention to a great cut, buttery soft bamboo fabrics and distinctive graphics. This makes for a beautifully designed, ridiculously comfortable and very cool garment. Not only is bamboo soft but has some rather fantastic qualities too, It is temperature regulating, breathable natural fibers, it is naturally organic needing no nasty pesticides. It also absorbs water 3-4 times better than cotton and is hypo-allergenic and anti-bacterial. A big bonus is also that it handles a normal wash just fine and dries quickly!

One thing that we have noticed with our Doodlebug clothes is that since they are so naturally stretchy they last for a long time since it takes a while for the kids to grow out of them, so they fit over several sizes. The baseball tees featured here are Elephant tee and the Foxy Loxy tee.
