After Saturday's rainy menu we welcomed some sun on Sunday and got a chance to try out a birthday gift. It was perfect kite weather so a trip to the beach was on the agenda. The jelly fish kite was an excellent choice since it was so easy to get up in the air and maneuver for both kids. We were not the only one who were taking advantage of the winds that day. The whole bay area was filled with kite boarders who flew off the waves, doing tricks in the air. Hopefully we get to spend more afternoons down here soon. Can't wait for the warmer winds to join us too!

Oh to be a kid again and rule your own domain, looking out over toys, wild adventures and your very own HUT! Love this idea that basically takes a tree house and turns it into a bunk bed.

Things I Love | SUSAN BIJL BAGS

It is over 10 years ago that Susan Bijl sewed the first bag at her studio and directly sold them to friends and family. Now there are more than 200 variations and it is sold worldwide. It is no secret that Susan Bijl was inspired by the good old plastic bag. You could even call it a tribute. The bag is super lightweight and easy to fold up really small so it fits anywhere. The bag comes in an array of choices so it is easy to fall in love with these more environmentally cousins to the plastic bag, and did I mention it is super strong?? What is not to like?

Brand Watch | Molo AW13

Danish Molo has loaded their fashion wardrobes with some new styles and ideas in this AW13 collection. Important trends give the autumn/winter collection it's unexpected edge. The focus is on new looks with with edgy charm, strong tailoring with innovative knits and new ways of playing with layering, new "off" colours and washes.

The collection also includes a strong programme of socks and tights with stars, exciting graphic expressions, colour blocking and over-the-knee leg warmers.
