Always on the move, always exploring - marble throwing, ant searching and butterfly catching all in 10 minutes, oh and trying out sunnies. A busy little guy, but that is the way I like 'em. Happy Thursday out there... almost another weekend coming up!

GIRLS | Just Wanna Have Fun

Who needs weekends or parties to get pretty? Here is my take on two outfits for a girl that would be fit for a party or just when they want to get weekday pretty. My girl took one look at this collage and squeaked....pretty! I am love with every piece and will most likely try and click home some of it.

Moments | Let's go to the Skate Park

A big, new skate park has been built recently in St.Kilda and we had to check it out the other day.  It truly is a cool skate park with an amazing bowl, and lots of areas were both pros and newbies can practice. M & D brought their scooters (since they are a lot more confident with that than skating) and tried it out. Both kids zoomed back and forth and I have to admit it puts the parent heart to the test. Kids are buzzing around and you are just sort of waiting for a crash at some point. Luckily non of that happened and the kids had a blast. We also checked out the more seasoned skaters in the big bowls who pulled some nice airs and some smooth grinds while the music was going on somebody's stereo.

When the kids had enough we went to the playground which is only about a stone throw away, and checked it out. It had some nice balance tracks and we ended up piling up rock towers to see who could knock them all down first. M won, and then it was stone throwing into the sea instead. It was a great day which ended up with lunch at a local hangout and a movie at home. It was fair to say we were all a bit exhausted after a long day outside with lots of thrills to go around for awhile!

It is long weekend over here, with Melbourne Cup day on Tuesday most kids have the day off on Monday as well, so this weekend we are enjoying a 4 day off treat. The good weather continues and here are a few photos from yesterday when we got to enjoy some sunshine and water play. Since both kids had a cold this week we didn't think to bring swimwear but that didn't seem to stop the kids (as you can see). Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!!

New In | Keep it Simple!

If there is something we do tend to shop a lot in this family its great quality basics. Things that work anytime and for most occasions. These are the type of clothes that will be worn a lot, so spending a bit more money on them just means they will last longer and look better after the 100th time in the washer.

Two of our favourite labels for this is TUSS and Goat-milk. This time around it was D who needed some longsleeves and we settled on the wonderful unisex, grey Damian sweater by TUSS (we also have the black and white stripe version of it for M so a girl can easily wear it too.) It is lighweight knitted cotton so it keeps you warm yet is not too thick to overheat in.

The other top was the black and white longsleeve by Goat-milk. Again M also has this in a larger size that easily can be handed down sibling to sibling no matter if it is a girl or a boy. Goatmilk is made from 100% organic cotton and comes prewashed.  Both tops are available from Fourmonkeys and are on sale at the moment. The temporary tattoos are from Tattly and are also from Fourmonkeys.

Most of our family has been down with a cold this week and now its the little guy's and my own turn. We have had a good run this winter though so I guess it was going to happen sooner or later, we prefer the later option ;) Sharing some quick snaps of D's outfit from yesterday and wishing you all a wonderful weekend out there!
