Brand Watch | Tiny Cottons AW14

My oh my, Tiny Cottons latest AW14 collection is simply edible! The Spanish label was founded in 2012 and launched their very first collection in AW13. Their priority when designing clothes is comfort, quality and fun. They focus on soft fabric made out of pima cotton, easy to read prints that are very inspiring and timeless.

Fortunately I am not the only one that are loving this label, and its available in several of my favourite shops like Zirimola, Orange Mayonnaise, SpringStof so if there is a specific size or print you are after there are several source options.  Above are some of my favourite picks from their new collection.

1. Logo beanie knit / 2. Cookies dress / 3. Big cookie graphic Tee / 4. Logo knit pants / 5. Logo knit beanie / 6. Boots print Tee / 7. Logo knit pants / 8. Tiny cookie blanket / 9. Stripes knit beanie / 10. Pines body onesie / 11. Big Cookie knit blanket / 12. Stripey knit beanie navy / 13. Pines Onesie.

Moments | Rain Rain Go Away

M wears: Jacket by Witchery Kids / Dress by Tuss / Leggings by Soft Gallery / Boots by Tip Toey Joey.
D wears:
Jacket by Zara Boys / Sweater by The Brand / Soho jeans by I Dig Denim / Shoes by Converse.

I wish I could end it with come back another day... but right now I don't even wish for it to do that. Right about now we want warmer weather and I think everybody is wishing for Spring.

We got caught out in the rain the other day and the only way we could find some shelter was escaping into nature under a few trees. It proved to be a good idea since M found a little lego girl under the tree and the joy knew no limits. There is something quite beautiful in the rugged colours of a cold day, the wind pushing up the waves hard against the big rocks, and watching a brave (or slightly confused) soul going for a quick dip in the ocean. After the wind and rain had pushed us around we ended up in one of our favourite cafes warming up with coffees and babychinos for the whole family. And just about then.. you enjoy the comfort of being indoors even more and realizes that the cold day wasn't so bad after all...

We are having a typical rainy and slightly cold winters day here in Melbourne so it's easy to dream away and planning when looking at these bright and light kids spaces.

Moments | A Slice of Sunday

M wears: Sweatshirt by Bobo Choses / Pants by H&M / Longsleeve by Soft Gallery / Shoes by Hummel.
D wears:
Fleece by Bobo Choses / Dehli denim by I Dig Denim / Shoes by Converse.

Along the coast there are so many lovely stops you can make and simply get out of the car and get straight into the arms of nature. On the weekend D wanted to get out and try out one of his new birthday presents, the bee bee blaster. We figured we needed some space so we opted for a little secluded beach in the Parkdale area. There is a long, lush walking path that takes you down to the beach and it is simply the best spot for a Sunday walk. The path is surrounded by succulent plants and beautiful views. I can't think of a better way to round off a busy Sunday.

Moments | Winter Blues

D wears: Hoodie by Mini & Maximus / Vest by Zara Kids / Pants by Mini & Maximus / Shoes by Converse.

We've got the winter blues, but not of the sad kind. More of the cold kind. I know the chill here is nowhere near the Northern European one, but it has been colder than normal this past week and some suburbs have even has a bit of snow! During the break we also did a quick trip to Canberra and guess if I was surprised when I looked down from the plane and saw snow covered mountains, not exactly what you expect in Australia. There is plenty of snow here that is for sure.

But for now we are find with some thick jackets or vests on our daily scooter trips. And let me tell you, there have been lots of those lately with D getting a new birthday scooter. I thought it would take a few weeks for him to adjust to a two wheel scooter from having a three wheel one, but as usual he surprises me and gets the swing of it really quickly.

Here are a few photos from a quick trip to a warm cafe and the chance to warm up before picking up big sister at school. Hope you are all managing to stay warm out there, (or cool if you are in Europe ;)
