Moments | Thrills & Spills

M wears: Tee by Mango Kids / Skirt by molo / Shoes by molo. D wears: Tee by Volcom / Pants by Munsterkids / Shoes by Converse / Tote bag by Munsterkids

Getting some thrills in the local skatepark.  It is amazing how much fun you can have on a couple of wheels. You couldn't tell by these photos but the park was actually packed of kids and adults of all ages enjoying some wheel action. A perfect way to end a sunny weekend.

Moments | Here Comes The Sun

D wears: Top by Munsterkids / Jeans by I Dig Denim / Shoes by Native Shoes / Cap by Vans. M wears: Top by Mini Rodini / Skirt by Mango Kids / Shoes by Native shoes.

Weekend and a sunny one to boot! We decided to try out a newly opened cafe/restaurant that according to rumors have a wonderful breakfast menu. The rumors were right and it was quite amazing sitting in the sun munching on a breakfast that you hadn't done yourself. It was nice leaving all wheels at home and just go for a walk as well. The kids seem to find fun no matter where they go and it was nice walking off that big brekky and coffee as well! Hope everybody is getting some sun this weekend, it sure is nice when it comes out to play!

Brand Watch | nosweet SS14

Polish label nosweet has come out with another wonderful organic collection entitled "no is sweet". The beautiful pattern of moths is integrated in several garments and runs through the collection like a bitter sweet string. I love finding beauty in rare places and these moth patterns are so beautiful and a nice break from the otherwise more popular cousin the butterfly.

What makes nosweet special is the fact that their clothes are double BIO. Both the fabric and the pigments used for dyeing printed design lack harmful substances. The whole cycle of production: starting from cotton-growing, going through its treatment, weaving, dyeing or printing, ending with the final product of a ready-made fabric, is completely natural.

Moments | The Magic Hour

D wears: Hoodie by Bobo Choses / Tee by FITN / Pants by Shampoodle / Shoes by 10IS / Cap by Beau LOves / Tattoos by Orange Mayonaise.

Some photos from an afternoon on the go. Its all about getting around on wheels these days, bikes, scooters and skateboards. The weather has treated us well this Autumn and its still t-shirt weather most of the days, but you can feel the cold weather is trying to sneak in. Autumn is still one of my favourite seasons though because the weather can be so perfect here. Crisp, blue sky and still warm enough to just wear a tee but not being too hot.

This day was one of those days. I got the camera out just as we hit the magic hour when the light is so nice and soft. D got to try out his big sisters drawings in the form of tattoos, he was mighty impressed and will keep the anchor on for his upcoming pirate party he is invited to this weekend. I hope we get a lot more of these lovely days before the rainy, cold winter sets in. Brrrr...

INTERIOR | BEDDING

I love how a good bedding makes a room. Its a good way of instantly bringing some change to a room and much cheaper than wallpaper or paint. Here are a few that would look great in a boys room (or some even fit great in a girls room too). Sweet dreams!

1. Bear duvet by By Nord / 2. Hero duvet by Beau LOves / 3. Wolf duvet by By Nord / 4. Tiger duvet by H&M / 5. Star duvet by H&M / 6. Parrot duvet by Mini Rodini / 7. Leopard duvet by Soft Gallery / 9. Astronaut duvet by Snurk.

Moments | Sunday Sightseeing

M wears: Sweater by Finger In the Nose / Pants by Missie Munster / Shoes by Molo. D wears: Hoody by Mini & Maximus / Pants by Munsterkids / Shoes by Natives / Cap by Beau LOves.

The wind was teasing us this weekend with colder and then warmer winds. We rugged up and visited the baywalk to view the ironman spectacle that was taking place this Sunday. The kids had fun on their scooters and climbed the palm trees with natural monkey skills. You can feel Autumn gently moving in and you can sense a change is coming very soon. Not sure if I am ready for winter yet. Somehow it feels harder for each year. You wish the summer months would last longer, but for  my family and friends over in Europe I wish they will have a taste of warmer weather soon. Hope you all had a lovely weekend out there and are ready for a new week...

New In | Marle Grey Love

When you are not in the mood for black and not feeling like wearing white, I always jump for joy that there is marle grey! I somehow never get tired of grey, especially not when its that perfect raw mix of dark and white. One label that always seem to make the perfect marle grey blend is Finger in the Nose. Here are two garments from their new collection. As the days are getting slowly colder this horse sweater was the perfect choice for my girl. The running stallions looks amazing, and the lovely details like the longer back and thumb holes to keep the hands warm makes it the perfect sweat.

For the skateboard loving boy we had to get this hilarious tee of the skating hamburger. I laughed when he saw it and said 'skating burger, I love it!!'. The quality is so wonderful and soft and their tees are instant favorites, because they only get softer with wear.

We also got a big stack of temporary tattoos as promised since M designed these a few months back for Orange Mayonnaise as store tattoos (you get a free sheet when ordering). We loved how they turned out and she can't wait to share them with her friends.

Moments | Hey Skater Dude!

D wears: Tee by Cheap Monday / Jeans by I Dig Denim / Shoes by MAA shoes / Cap by DC

Wednesday feels like the new Friday for us. No hump day here... It is the first day of the week, when we all pretty much arrive home together and get to enjoy the afternoon sun together, like today. Love these moments when you get to catch up on each others day and just do lazy things like hanging out on a board. This little guy is growing so much lately. His vocabulary is growing each day and I am amazed with how good he dances and is seemingly a natural on a skateboard. I think it is fair to say I am mighty proud of him, he has come a far way and I can't wait to see what he is up to next.
