Rise and Shine!
THIS is exactly what I feel like doing in the morning right now. Hide and go back to sleep. Cold mornings and busy routines is not something that interest me right now, or even get me remotely in the mood for rising early. Maybe the late evenings have something to do with it? I can't seem to get myself in bed early for a long good nights sleep. I always want the evenings to last, for that last cup of tea, that last thing to do on the computer or that last thing on TV or just that last little doodle I was working on... What get's you into bed in a reasonable time?? Any good book recommendations to share?

I hear you. BC (before children) I used to only have very long nights followed by long mornings in bed. Oh how I miss those days. When you could just sleep whenever you wanted to. That seems so long ago.
ReplyDeleteNow I go to bed no later than 10 pm. I mean if I am up until 10 then it is a very long night. Most nights I know that I have a difficult night in front of me (with 2 under 3) so I go to bed around 8 pm. Sometimes I actually manage to get a decent amount of hours and some nights it is a combined few hours. Lack of sleep is the one major disadvantage of having young children for me. Everything else has been amazing.
Oh gosh I hear you! After kids, sleep has become some holy grail that you always try to find! I wish I could be a bit better and go to bed when you go to bed but I am not at all tired at that time. I am in bed no later than 12pm but that still seems way too late. My kids sleep to almost 8 though, but even if I have had 8 hours sleep I am still tired at that time. I don't think the wintertime in Australia is helping though haha. I think I will have to find myself a great read so I am lured into bed instead of lurking into the evening :)
